FOUNDER'S LEGACY
Founded in 2008 by Giovanni Bolandrini, Pier 88 Group reflects a vision shaped by Italian heritage, international perspective, and an instinct for culture, style, and experience. From his early success in London's fashion world to his recognition among the leaders behind luxury dining in the Middle East, Giovanni has built a legacy defined by taste, atmosphere, and distinction.
Vision
Atmosphere First.
Every Pier 88 destination begins with feeling. Before the table is set or the first course is served, the space must already communicate mood, presence, and ease.
A Sense Of Place.
No two venues are intended to feel interchangeable. Each is shaped by its setting, its audience, and its cultural context, while still belonging to one coherent world.
Refined Hospitality.
Service is guided by quiet confidence and considered detail. The intention is never excess, but precision: hospitality that feels natural, elevated, and memorable.
Crafted Identity.
From interiors to culinary direction, every element is developed with clarity and purpose, creating destinations with character rather than concepts built to repeat.
Designed To Endure.
The ambition is not simply to open restaurants, but to create places that remain in memory, where people return for the atmosphere, the standard, and the feeling they cannot quite find elsewhere.
Pier88 Begins In El Gouna
Giovanni Bolandrini introduced Pier88 by the Red Sea at Abu Tig Marina, creating the waterfront dining and nightlife identity that became the group's foundation.

A Standard With Presence.
To shape hospitality destinations with atmosphere, identity, and permanence, creating places that feel culturally rooted, emotionally resonant, and refined in every detail. Each venue is conceived not simply to open, but to endure as a setting people remember and return to.
Growth With Intent.
To expand Pier88 Group through destinations that remain distinct in character and precise in point of view. Growth is approached with discipline rather than repetition, allowing every new venue to extend the world of the brand while contributing a new mood, a new story, and a new sense of place.
